  Mi-Cree-Ni Quash-Mah is my name, and I handcraft flutes from several species of hardwood with polished stone sound blocks. I also teach flute playing and offer Music Practitioner services for healing and transition.   Beautifully handcrafted flutes are individually priced and come with documentation and a certificate of authenticity.

I have over 50 years of experience crafting flutes, the art and practice have been handed down in my family for generations. From my great-great-great grandfather down to my grandfather who taught me beginning as a young child, the flute and its music have been a part of our traditions. From my heart and from my tradition, I share my flutes with you.

The Flutes

Each flute is handcrafted from hard wood and stone, so each has its own voice and character. The finger holes for every flute I make are equally spaced on the body of the flute for ergonomic ease of play and this also enables you to develop a comfortable habit for location identification of each note and reduces that OOps! experience. I have also developed the tonal balance withing the flute to allow you the player to control the overblown tones and those oh so seductive fade in and fade out notes that everyone loves. One of the first things you will notice is that some of my flutes are round and some are tear shaped ovals: well the oval shaped flutes allow the player more flexibility during the manipulation of the individual notes by giving the player a more secure space to hang on to the flute with the thumb and smallest index fingers of each hand. I also offer flute playing classes through the internet these are live scheduled events and only available to owners of my flutes.
